Description
Bachelor?s degree required, Master?s degree preferred; Valid Texas teacher?s certification ? Special Education required; Vocational rehabilitation experience preferred; Three years successful classroom teaching experience; Knowledge of job development and job analysis,student assessment and job matching, job placement and job site training; Knowledge of adult service providers/agencies; Ability to develop employment opportunities for students nad serve as liaison to employers; Knowledge of person center planning; Demonstated skills in communication ? verbal and written; Ability to work on a team as a productive team member; Ability to relate positively to students, parents and staff; Ability to coordinate and conduct all aspects of the transition planning process with a focus on post-secondary outcomes; Experience working with students with significant disabilities.
