Caffeine may help you wake up in the morning but too much caffeine is one of the acid reflux causes. Caffeine is hard on the body. An acid reflux attack may be your bodies way of telling you to cut down on your caffeine levels. Although caffeine withdrawal is harsh, it is worth it to reduce your chances of an acid reflux attack. Do your body a favor and switch to decaf.
